Abstract

The intention of this article is to identify how technological advances have created tools to process and transmit information. Such is the case of electronic government, which, through its innovative spirit and the use of Information and Communication Technologies provides services to citizens and expands the effectiveness and efficiency of public management, by increasing the transparency of the public sector, and by means of citizen participation as well. In Mexico, the Federal Constitution, in its articles 6 and 17, establishes the right of every person to have justice administered by courts in a complete and impartial manner within the terms and conditions established by the law, all of which is related to the obligation of the State to guarantee access to Information and Communication Technologies. To promote and give the opportunity to access justice by means of electronic or digital mechanisms. Through a deductive and analytical method as well as an extensive documentary research and interpretation of the legal provisions, we have analyzed how the Judiciary of the State of Mexico has used technology as a keystone at the service of justice, by implementing various electronic means that encourage change in the administration of justice. Proof of this is the series of challenges and achievements that have had a positive impact on society since the confinement caused by the SARS-CoV-2, which allows us to conclude that the administration of justice is a fundamental right which does not stop in its enjoyment and exercise.
