POPULAR ART AND ITS LINKS WITH JUDICIAL EDUCATION: SOME CONSIDERATIONS THROUGH POLITICAL CARICATURE

This article considerate that art is a cultural expression of communicative action oriented to the teaching of law. Popular art is a means of making socio-legal and political problems visible, transcending legal formalism. Likewise, the popular art of political caricature is capable of revealing the injustices of the institutions, the violations of freedom and human rights and other great evils of our contemporary societies. The teaching of law must use artistic tools to improve educational quality. The incidence of political caricature not only exemplifies the great present evils, but also sensitizes public opinion under an aesthetic tone.
