ARCHITECTURE AND LAW
Keywords:
Law and architecture, aesthetic, culture, metaphors, buildings linked to lawAbstract
The rapprochements between law and architecture in contemporary legal literature are practically null in our language. In order to delve into the role and influence of architecture in law, this article analyzes different metaphors that have been proposed about buildings linked to law. To do this, the text is structured as follows: first, aesthetics and culture are analyzed as elements of art; secondly, a general reflection on architecture is proposed. Finally, two metaphors of architecture in the world of law are addressed, appealing to the notion of «metaphorology», proposed by Hans Blumenberg in his work Paradigms for a metaphorology.
