Abstract

Most Mexicans do not have higher education. The con- sequence is that people who cannot have access to this level of education are socially relegated. Mexicans who can study for a university degree, but who do not know legal science, are unaware of the limits of their rights, as well as the importance of fulfilling their obligations. Cinema is a means of communication that can spread legal knowledge and help the law fulfil its objective: the common good. In Mexico, many people can have access to the cinema, either legally or through other mechanisms. In any case, the cinema could be a great ally for the dissemination of legal science.
