Abstract

This work aims to identify the agreements in energy matters within the free trade agreements: Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA); Economic Partnership, Political Coordination and Cooperation Agreement between the European Community and its Member States of the one part, and the United Mexican States, of the other part; and Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA). The foregoing is based on the analysis of the main legal terms and princi- ples established in the respective investment chapters. The study of the investment chapters allows us to identify the legal scope that could arise in the event of making new reforms to Mexican legislation.
