This paper proposes the use of conventionality control as a mechanism to achieve gender-sensitive administration of justice. In exercising this control, not only conventional norms are sufficient, but also the jurisprudential lines that the Inter-American Court of Human Rights has developed in recent years regarding gender equality and women’s rights. Therefore, inter-American jurisprudence, which is binding for judges in Mexico, is presented as a means to ensure its proper implementation.
