INTERPRETERS AND TRANSLATORS ESSENTIAL FOR INDIGENOUS PEOPLES IN ACCESS TO JUSTICE: THEIR LACK VIOLATES AXIOLOGICAL VALUES

Abstract

There is a great diversity of indigenous peoples and communities in Mexico, which face various problems day by day. Among them, the impossibility of having adequate access to justice; The purpose of this research is to raise awareness of the need to create clear strategies that guarantee indigenous peoples and communities the assistance of interpreters and translators when they require it, and thereby avoid violating axiological values such as dignity and justice.
