THE ELABORATION OF THE OFFICIAL MEXICAN STANDARDS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF LEGAL SCIENCE
Keywords:

Today, the Federal Executive Branch cannot personally perform all the actions required to ensure strict compliance with the laws in the administrative sphere, especially when the legal system contains technical and specialized aspects. In response, the Quality Infrastructure Law has empowered certain state secretariats or federal public administration entities to assist the Federal Executive Branch in issuing mandatory standards. Given this, there is an urgent need to apply legal science to the development of Mexican Official Standards, which, due to their complexity, technical nature, and specialization, no other legal science could do. Therefore, this paper aims to contribute, from the perspective of legal science, to the development of Mexican Official Standards issued by the Federal Executive Branch, with the Secretariats of State assisting in this task.
