A PANORAMIC OF LITIGATION OVER INTERNATIONAL FAMILY LAW. THE CASE OF MEXICO

In this work, a study of the contemporary problematic inside the family environment and its repercussions in Law is addressed. Within the main changes that are analyzed inside this social institution, globalization stands as a multiple cause phenomenon, which allows changes in the way of family organization and the very conception of same. The main problems that arise at an international level of the matrimonial relationships, their dissolution and register in a different country in which the marriage’s contract was celebrated are addressed, as well as the resulting problematic of the international abduction of a child. In a third point, a study is carried out of cases of family problematic on an international level and the manner in which they must be solved in accordance with International Law, besides pointing out some changes that are deemed pertinent on national legislation to perform said processes in the most efficient manner.
