This article reflects the impact of learning in the student body with the use of sociodrama, specifically in the training courses for mediators-conciliators, by means of a program based in skills which was designed and implemented by the State Center of Mediation, Conciliation and Restorative Justice of the Judicial Power of the State of Mexico, which is an institution that has the responsibility of forming and certifying public and private mediators-conciliators. A quantitative research was performed using a quasi-experimental design with two groups. The first one, the control one, was centered in traditional education; and the second one, which was the experimental one, used the sociodrama as a strategy of teaching-learning, which allowed us to conclude that the participants got a wider knowledge in the topics developed during the course, according to the proposed program and based on the context problems with which the mediatorsconciliators deal during the performance of their functions when developing the necessary skills, techniques, and tools to be an efficient intermediary who can also be effective in the solution of conflict, and with that, to be able to be builders of a culture of peace.
