Abstract

Within the framework of the constitutional reform published in Official Gazette of the Federation on February 24th, 2017, new bases were established for the labor law enforcement in Mexico. For this reason, the federal and local Judicial Powers face a variety of challenges so that future labor judges do not misunderstand the social values and ideals established in the Labor Law. These judges should overcome formalities and validate legal situations, although they may be ethically questioned by the society. Hence, it is important for officials to count on a sound judicial training in philosophical matters so that when it is implemented, this training complements the judicial technique.
