THE IMPORTANCE OF INTERNATIONAL TREATIES IN CONTEMPORARY JUDICIAL PRACTICE

We study different events that permeated the legal life of Mexico, and that transcended to such an extent that they changed the vision that was around the treaties and their application in the internal system, based on these ideas, an analysis of the form is made in which the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation adopts said changes. The double validity of the treaties in the Mexican legal system, the applicability established by the internal regulations and the one adopted through the same treaties, the recommendations made to Mexico derived from the action in different cases of transcendence are analyzed. It explains the hierarchy that the rules of the internal system have against the international system, taking into account the normative and interpretative background that governed the jurisdictional activity within the internal system. Finally, the criteria of interpretation of international treaties are examined when their content is about human rights, and the role of international regulation within the Mexican jurisdictional activity.
